Sponsorship Opportunities

Sponsor One of NCAC’s Media Outreach Campaigns in Maryland, Virginia, DC, and beyond!

We welcome a partnership with your business through our Media Sponsorship opportunities. Our goal is to communicate the value of Scouting to the broader public and improve our communications to our 32,000 Scouts and their families while sharing how your company can help our leaders and parents/guardians in their Scouting journey. Media sponsorships are available for NCAC’s e- newsletter, WeOwnAdventure.com blog, or at in-person events. Sponsorships are acknowledged in a variety of ways such as with a graphic/logo on the website to a logo/link in the e-newsletter.

MSSC Flier Display

Flier display: $100 contribution per month. NCAC maintains two kiosks at the Marriott Scout Service Center, located near the information desk and Scout Shop, where current sponsors can display fliers.

Event Table Sponsorship

Sponsored Table for One Council Event: $200 contribution. An opportunity to set up a vendor table at a major event, such as University of Scouting or Program Launch, and receive face time with our volunteers. University of Scouting typically attracts more than 1,000 adult leaders from across the Council, all looking for new program opportunities and resources for their Scouts.

MSSC Lobby Television Sponsorship

Lobby Television: $250 contribution per month. Logo and/or video clip displayed to on the lobby screen to visitors entering the Marriot Scout Service Center (MSSC).  The MSSC welcomes shoppers to the National Scout Shop six days per week and leaders, parents, and guardians visit the lobby help desk for services each business day.

E-Newsletter Sponsorship

Listing in e-Newsletter:  $750 contribution. A listing in our semi-monthly e-newsletter sent to over 55,000 local Scout leaders and community members or our Scout family newsletter sent to 25,000 parents. Listings can include up to 50 words, a graphic (100×100 pixels), and a link your website. Limited availability – only one per issue.

WeOwnAdventure Sponsorship

Sponsored Blog Post: $1,000 contribution includes the following benefits:

  • Sponsored Blog Post on WeOwnAdventure: A Blog Post featured on the Council’s main news source, explaining how your company can help units deliver the Scouting program. Posts are approximately 750-1200 words with two images and a link to your website.
  • One Facebook cross post.
  • Flyer distribution as described above.
  • Limited availability – only one per week.

Banner graphic on the WeOwnAdventure main page: $500 contribution. This is a static image (size 728×90) on our main news site promoting Scout-focused activities for one month. Can be targeted based on activities or geography. Flier distribution as described above. Limited availability – 5 per month

Medium graphic on a WeOwnAdventure article page: $300 contribution.  A static image (size 300×250) on our main news site promoting Scout-focused activities for one month. Can be targeted based on activities or geography. Limited availability – 10 per month
